Come And Serve With Us

So many folks and community organizations need helping hands and loving hearts. We respond as individuals and as a community to love our neighbours near and far.  Our clothesline supplies hats, mitts and socks in winter and toiletries in summer. Our church community comes alongside other churches in the Beach to run the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Foodbank.  Recently we have raised funds for the Busby Centre, provided school supplies to teens and financial support to wildfire victims.  We also support Faithworks.

Come And Connect With Us Through Faith, Fun and Fellowship

We offer a variety of opportunities to come together and to get to know each other. These include fun fundraising events, a men’s group, women’s activities, faith sharing activities and community dinners.  We also gather informally after services for coffee and conversation every Sunday.

Come And Explore With Us

Christian Education programs at Prince of Peace are a great opportunity to ask all kinds of questions to explore our faith. Contact us for upcoming programs.

Come And Vision With Us

Our vision is to connect with all kinds of people, to encourage everyone to Come and Know Jesus, personally, just as they are.

Come And Be Young With Us

Messy Church is a great time for all ages. We have dinner, games, amazing crafts and lots of laughs.

We offer a free Parents and Tots program at the Rec Plex for parents, grandparents and caregivers with young babies to  preschool – Wednesday Mornings.

Vacation Bible School  happens in the summer.

Sunday Services

Sunday is a day of celebration as we gather to worship God and to connect with one another at 9:30 am.  We dress casually for services and everyone is encouraged to stay for coffee downstairs afterwards.  Our services are also offered on Zoom for those who can’t attend in person – contact the church for the Zoom link.

Our Sunday worship centers on celebration of the Holy Eucharist, also called Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper. Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table to receive the sacrament of bread and wine, or a blessing.   We project our whole service on screen so it is easy for all to participate.  From traditional hymns to more contemporary pieces, music is an important part of our Sunday worship. We love to sing, led by our choir and talented music director.

Building Access

Parking is behind the church – we use the door closest to the parking lot.  On Sunday mornings, if the lot is full, overflow street parking is available on Mosley (please do not block snowplows in winter), or just double park (no one will mind).  There is reserved disabled parking.

There are stairs to access the church upstairs and our hall downstairs.  A wheelchair lift is available for wheelchairs and smaller scooters, and for anyone who cannot manage our stairs.  Someone will be available to assist you to use the lift. An accessible washroom is on the lower level. Our building is air conditioned.
